Scalculator v0.2 Release!
Posted by ushimitsudoki on November 30, 2008
Woo-hoo! Work progresses on the Scalculator, and a source tarball is available for version 0.2!
A screenie:
The biggest thing added here is obviously the piano keyboard. Also, now you can click on the fretboard (or keyboard) and add notes – Scalculator will look them up!
There are several other improvements:
- corrected some scales
- more tunings added
- “Circle” actually works on a proper degree, rather than stepping on an interval
- Improved reverse lookup
- Lots of “under-the-hood” code improvements
If you are interested in the musical or python aspects, please take a look and let me know what you think!
